Malaysia-Singapore Airlines (MSA) was established in 1966 as a joint venture between Malaysia's Malayan Airways and Singapore's Singapore Airlines, aimed at providing international air services for both countries.
The de Havilland Comet 4C, which was a notable aircraft for MSA, was introduced in the 1960s. With registration 9V-BAS, this particular Comet was known for its innovative design and was one of the first jet airliners to enter service.
